New PVC Pipework Installed
The damaged clay sections were excavated and replaced with modern PVC drainage pipework.
The new pipework was installed to restore flow and improve the reliability of the system. New access points and connections were also fitted where needed, making the drainage system easier to inspect and maintain in future.
Drain Relining Used Where Suitable
Not every section needed to be dug up. Where the pipe could be repaired internally, a section was relined.
Drain relining is useful when the existing pipe can be strengthened from the inside without full excavation. This helped reduce disruption around the patio area while still renewing the damaged part of the system.
Patio Reinstated After Drain Repairs
Once the new PVC pipework and relined section were complete, the patio area was reinstated.
The final photos show the surface left clean and tidy, with the patio put back neatly after the drainage repair work.
